Nexum 40 mg Uses

Nexum 40 mg may be prescribed for the treatment of GERD, erosive esophagitis, and acid-related heartburn symptoms. It can also be used to reduce the risk of gastric ulcers associated with certain NSAID painkillers in patients who are at risk. In appropriate treatment regimens, esomeprazole may be combined with antibiotics for H. pylori eradication to reduce the risk of duodenal ulcer recurrence. It is also used for certain conditions involving excessive stomach-acid production, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
